Our client is the leader in ACT-based digital health and wellness programs. They are looking for their VP of Sales to grow the employer wellness, broker and health plan markets. This is a new position based on the growth goals of the company. You will have a critical impact on the growth and continued success of the company. You will lead sales efforts for the company, demonstrating the value of Our client’s products to potential B2B clients. You will refine the current process of prospecting and moving leads through the pipeline, creating a repeatable sales process. You will lead revenue generating and business development efforts for the company. This includes leveraging your current relationships to expand their customer base to create new sales opportunities. You will measure and analyze the current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize the business growth and revenue strategy. You will identify new, innovative ways to grow sales and business partnerships. You will partner with marketing to ensure you have the right collateral to tell the right story to the right audience. You will be the lead individual contributor for new revenue generation.  You will report to the CEO and work with a cross functional team including the channel partner manager

Fast forward a year, what will you have achieved?

You will have helped our client refine their outreach and lead generation strategies. You are following up on and qualifying leads and have developed a repeatable process. You understand the pipeline. The pipeline is full!  The metrics are complete. You are running reports that clearly demonstrate where you are in the sales process. You have helped mature their understanding of what it takes to be successful in the industry. You have brought excellent insight and have defined it. You have identified the key channels that work well for the company. You are known in the industry. You have been instrumental in growing the company. You have closed deals and helped our client meet or exceeded their revenue goals.  You are happy.

How will you get there?

30 days:

  • You will meet the team

  • Go through the digital health program as the user

  • Review the website and current collateral for positioning

  • Training:  walk through the current sales process and demos with the CEO and other team members as needed

  • Work with the channel partner manager and CEO to define needed training

  • Get set up with ZOHO CRM, Slack and other tech tools used by Our client

 90 days:

  • Respond to inbound leads and proactively prospect for new leads

  • Lead and own the sales calls, demos and pipeline

  • Effectively message and conveying our client’s value prop to customers

  • Identify any gaps in existing collateral and tools, then work with marketing to update

  • Create the sales strategy and process, then roll out to the team

  • Actively using our client’s CRM system to record sales activities

6 months:

  • You have tools to be successful

  • Closed your 1st sales

  • Successfully have multiple deals in the pipeline

  • Working with clients independently

  • Improving the sales process and strategy based on what you have learned.

 

What you will need:

  • A strong mix of both outbound and inbound sales experience

  • A proactive, self-driven approach to sales success

  • Successful track record of closing deals in the $10K-$250K a year range

  • Refined and implemented a successful sales process

  • Strong rolodex s and contacts in the employer, broker or related space

  • Deep B2B sales expertise in employee benefits and/or health and wellness

  • Experience in selling digital health products or similar
