As a Senior Physician Recruiter at Fred Hutch, you will be a key architect in building their physician and advanced practice provider teams. In this transformative role, you will not only support clinical and administrative hiring but also spearhead the development of their direct physician recruitment function. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and secure top physicians and advanced practice providers who align with Fred Hutch’s mission and values.
End-to-End Recruitment Process: Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, from crafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with the University of Washington’s physician recruiting team and internal stakeholders, leveraging these relationships to build a cohesive recruitment strategy.
Market Expertise: Deeply understand the nuances of each clinical specialty and translate this knowledge into effective recruitment strategies that attract the best talent in the field.
Candidate and Hiring Manager Experience: Ensure a high level of satisfaction for both candidates and hiring managers by providing exceptional service and maintaining clear, professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance current recruitment processes, suggesting innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Event Participation: Represent Fred Hutch at in-person and virtual recruitment events, including industry conferences and career fairs, to build a strong pipeline of future talent. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous records in their Applicant
Tracking Systems (ATS), ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth operations.

30 Days:
Team Integration: Meet your recruitment team and key business leaders to understand the organizational landscape and build foundational relationships.
Stakeholder Engagement: Connect with critical partners in HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning & Development to align on strategic goals.
Client Interaction: Begin developing relationships with your internal clients to understand their unique needs and priorities.
System Familiarity: Get up to speed with their ATS, iCIMS, and Workday to streamline your recruitment activities.
90 Days:
Active Recruitment: Start managing and recruiting for key positions, demonstrating your ability to align candidates with organizational needs.
Organizational Insight: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Fred Hutch’s structure and how each department contributes to their mission.
6 Months:
Trusted Advisor: Establish yourself as the go-to recruitment expert for your client groups, proactively supporting their hiring needs and driving recruitment initiatives.
Deep Client Relationships: Foster strong, ongoing relationships with your clients, becoming an integral part of their strategic hiring processes.
What you will need:
10 years of full life cycle recruiting experience including 5 years of physician recruitment for hospitals, and/or health systems or an academic health care environment, working with senior leadership and/or physician leadership
Experience preparing physician offers for internal approval and candidate presentation
Demonstrated success with candidate sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders
